We are working in partnership with an Outstanding Secondary School based in Dagenham who are seeking to appoint a Music Teacher to join them ASAP for the remainder of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the power of education to improve the life chances of young people and a committed team player who is driven to raise attainment. You will ideally have experience of teaching Music at GCSE and A level. However, applications from Newly Qualified Teachers who are capable of teaching at A level with training and support alongside those with a proven track record are welcomed.

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will run a co-curricular music activity, and assist in others. An ability to perform in school musical productions is important, as well as accompanying students in concerts and assemblies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
