Music Teacher

 

Protocol are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual with a passion for Music and the ability to inspire both staff and students to join a secondary school as a Teacher of Music. The successful candidate will teach Music up to Key Stage 4 (up to Key Stage 5 would be desirable) and play a central role in the Music department, with the highest ambitions for learning and rigorously high expectations. For the right candidate, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established department and make a contribution to its ambitious vision for the future.

 The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Music, with detailed knowledge of current curriculum and pedagogical developments in their subject and the wider curriculum. A desire to raise overall achievement in Music through promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning is essential.

 In order to apply you must be a qualified teacher with a Music based degree who has had recent teaching or teaching practice experience and have kept up to date with relevant professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
