What you’ll be doing:

Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Designing and implementing an inclusive and inspiring music curriculum

Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress

Providing constructive feedback to help students reach their musical potential

Leading and supporting concerts, performances, and extracurricular music activities

Creating a positive classroom culture that encourages creativity and participation

Working closely with colleagues to enhance the wider school experience

Contributing to school events and the development of the Music department
You’ll need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Music or a related subject

Experience teaching Music at secondary level (desirable)

Strong knowledge of the secondary music curriculum and effective teaching practice

Ability to teach and demonstrate a range of musical instruments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
