We’re working with a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Middlesbrough that is looking for an enthusiastic Music Teacher to bring energy, creativity, and structure to the classroom. The music department is well supported, the school values the arts, and there is genuine opportunity to make music a subject pupils truly enjoy.
The role includes:

Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available if you’re keen

Delivering engaging lessons in performance, composition, and music theory

Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and building confidence through practical music-making

Contributing to choirs, ensembles, and extracurricular music activities

Maintaining clear routines and positive behaviour in the classroom
The school is looking for someone who:

Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)

Has experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school

Can engage pupils through a practical and inclusive approach to music

Brings creativity, organisation, and a calm classroom presence

Enjoys being part of the wider school community
