We’re working with a welcoming and well-run secondary school in Newham looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their languages department. The team is supportive, behaviour is well-structured, and there’s a real focus on helping pupils enjoy languages, not just memorise vocabulary lists.
The role includes:

Teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available if you’re keen

Planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons that build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing

Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and encouraging a love of languages

Working closely with a collaborative and friendly MFL team

Maintaining positive behaviour and clear classroom routines
The school is looking for someone who:

Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)

Has experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school

Can teach French, Spanish, or both confidently

Brings energy, organisation, and a calm classroom presence

Enjoys being part of the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
