MFL Teacher

Location: Telford
Job Type: Supply Teaching
Industry: Secondary Teacher
Reference: nrmfl1
Salary: £150 - 220 per day
Job Published: about 11 hours ago

We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Telford that believes languages open more than doors — they open minds. Here, students don’t just learn verbs and vocab, they explore culture, opportunity, and the joy of global connection.

From day one, you’ll join a school where curiosity runs high, behaviour is strong, and teachers are given the space and support to do what they do best: inspire learning.

This role isn’t about drilling grammar or memorising lists. It’s about bringing lessons to life, creating those lightbulb moments, and helping students see themselves as confident communicators in a connected world.

 What’s on offer

  • Permanent MFL teaching role starting September 2025

  • Pupils who are curious, ambitious, and ready to learn

  • A collaborative department that shares ideas (and planning!)

  • Leadership that values creativity as much as outcomes

  • Career development across a growing multi-academy trust

Who we’re looking for

You’re an engaging MFL teacher (or ECT ready to start your journey) who can make grammar fun and conversation natural. You’ve got a knack for weaving culture into every lesson and setting high expectations while keeping learning joyful and accessible.

Got ideas for international projects, exchanges, or cultural clubs? Brilliant — they’ll love that.

You’ll need:

  • UK QTS (or equivalent)

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine love of languages

  • A creative, inspiring classroom style

  • A commitment to helping pupils grow in confidence and curiosity
