Reference: mfltel1
Salary: £140 - 220 per day
Job Published: about 3 hours ago

We’re partnering with a progressive secondary school in Telford where languages do far more than tick a curriculum box. They spark curiosity, broaden horizons, and help young people understand the world beyond the classroom.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the difference. Pupils are engaged and well behaved, curiosity is encouraged, and teachers are trusted and supported to teach creatively and with confidence.

This role is about more than grammar drills and vocabulary tests. It’s about bringing language to life, creating those lightbulb moments, and helping students see themselves as confident communicators in a connected world.

What’s on offer
• A permanent MFL teaching role starting September 2025
• Curious, motivated pupils who enjoy learning
• A collaborative department that genuinely shares ideas and planning
• Leadership that values creativity alongside results
• Career development opportunities within a growing multi-academy trust

Who we’re looking for
You’re an engaging MFL teacher, or an ECT ready to begin your journey, who knows how to make languages feel natural, relevant, and enjoyable. You bring culture into the classroom, set high expectations, and create an environment where pupils feel confident having a go.

If you’ve got ideas for international projects, exchanges, or cultural clubs, even better. This is a school that welcomes them.

You’ll need
• UK QTS or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for languages
• A creative, inspiring classroom approach
• A commitment to building pupils’ confidence and curiosity
