The Role

As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver engaging and culturally rich lessons, fostering a love for languages across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

  • Teach French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 (ability to teach one to A-Level is highly desirable).

  • Create dynamic lesson plans that cover reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring high levels of attainment.

  • Organise and participate in language immersion trips and cultural enrichment days.

  • Differentiate instruction to support students of varying abilities, including EAL learners.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a relevant UK teaching qualification.

  • Has a relevant degree in French, Spanish, or Modern Languages.

  • Is a native speaker or has near-native fluency in both target languages.

  • Has experience teaching the UK curriculum (ECTs are warmly welcomed and supported).

  • Is passionate about bringing language learning to life through culture and history.
