We’re partnering with a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Redcar seeking a motivated MFL Teacher to join their languages department. The school has clear behaviour systems, a supportive team culture, and a real commitment to making languages engaging and accessible for all learners.

The role includes:

  • Teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available

  • Delivering engaging lessons that develop pupils’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills

  • Supporting learners of mixed abilities and promoting positive attitudes to language learning

  • Collaborating closely with the MFL department and wider staff team

  • Maintaining calm, structured, and positive classroom routines

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)

  • Has experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary setting

  • Is confident teaching French, Spanish, or both

  • Brings enthusiasm, organisation, and a supportive teaching style

  • Enjoys contributing to the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
