The role
As an MFL Teacher, you will:
-
Teach Modern Foreign Languages across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
-
Promote confidence, cultural awareness, and effective communication
-
Differentiate effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
-
Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
-
Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
-
Work collaboratively within the Languages department and wider staff team
Languages such as French, Spanish, and German are particularly welcomed.
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

Has experience teaching MFL in UK secondary schools

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management

Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding
-
Is adaptable, reliable, and professional
-
Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and those returning to the profession.
Pay & contract

£163–£265.92 per day, depending on experience
