MFL Teacher

Location: Telford
Job Type: Supply Teaching
Industry: Secondary Teacher
Reference: 311020875
Salary: £140 - 220 per day
Job Published: 2 days ago

We’re working closely with a forward-thinking secondary school in Telford that’s ready to welcome a passionate MFL teacher into its team.

This is a school that holds high expectations while genuinely valuing the individual. Pupils are encouraged to think independently, share their ideas with confidence, and develop not just academically, but socially and personally too. There’s a strong sense of community here, with learning rooted in respect, responsibility, and resilience.

The curriculum is broad, balanced, and designed to help pupils discover their strengths and interests. From languages and humanities to science, sport, and the arts, pupils are given opportunities to explore, challenge themselves, and find real enjoyment in learning. Beyond the classroom, enrichment and wider opportunities play a big role in developing confidence, character, and a sense of belonging.

Languages are an important part of the school’s wider vision. Lessons go beyond textbooks and exams, helping pupils connect with other cultures and see the relevance of language in the real world. This role is about bringing language to life, creating those lightbulb moments, and helping students see themselves as confident communicators in a connected world.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the difference. Pupils are engaged and well behaved, curiosity is encouraged, and teachers are trusted and supported to teach creatively and with confidence.

What’s on offer

• Curious, motivated pupils who enjoy learning
• A collaborative department that genuinely shares ideas and planning
• Leadership that values creativity alongside results
• Career development opportunities within a growing multi-academy trust
