Salary: £120 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about teaching languages and inspiring cultural curiosity in young learners? Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Newcastle.
About the Role
As an MFL Teacher, you will bring the joy of language learning to life, teaching one or more of the following: French, Spanish, or German. You'll create an engaging and interactive classroom environment, helping students develop confidence and skills in communication while fostering a love for languages and cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Teach French, Spanish, German, or other languages across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
- Encourage students to develop fluency and appreciation for different cultures.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the MFL department.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level (KS3/KS4; KS5 is a bonus).
- Expertise in at least one core language (French, Spanish, or German preferred).
- Passion for language teaching and inspiring students.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
