Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Youth Support Worker to work in a Secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom).

You will work with children who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH) who have been identified as having a statement of an educational need or an Educational, health and care plan (EHCP).

The ideal candidate will be professional and passionate about SEND/SEMH and supporting children with additional needs and being fully able to adapt themselves to meet each individual needs, including excellent behaviour management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
