1:1 Tutors are needed to deliver Maths intervention lessons up to GCSE at a Secondary School based in Hackney.

We require experienced educators to teach young people, particularly those with SEND in East London up to GCSE level.

Experience working with young people in care, children in need and/or those with SEND is highly desirable, however graduates wishing to work within education are welcome to apply.

Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

• Knowledge of the National & Special Curriculum

• Substantial experience of working with pupils with SEND, with SEMH needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition.

• Awareness of child protection issues and commitment to safe practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
