Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and classroom cover across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Maths knowledge.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and structured Maths lessons.
- Provide effective classroom cover when required.
- Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities.
- Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ progress and confidence in Maths.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Maths (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
- Confident teaching Maths across KS3–KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
