Maths Teacher – North Tyneside

£163 to £263 per day (PAYE)

Are you the kind of teacher who can make numbers make sense? We’re looking for a passionate Maths Teacher to join secondary schools across North Tyneside.

You’ll be helping students build confidence with everything from algebra and geometry to problem-solving and real-world maths. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT ready to inspire your first classes, we’ll match you with a school that fits your strengths and style.

What you’ll do:

  • Teach engaging, well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Support students in developing their mathematical understanding and confidence

  • Create a calm, supportive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice

You’ll need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Strong subject knowledge and a clear teaching style

  • Good classroom management and communication skills

  • A flexible, positive attitude
