Pay: £163–£263 per day (PAYE, no umbrella companies)
Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time / Long-term / Immediate start

We’re working with several forward-thinking secondary schools across Newcastle who are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their teams. You’ll be delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that build confidence, spark curiosity, and help students see how maths connects to the real world.

What you’ll be doing

Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)

Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons

Supporting students to achieve target grades and develop problem-solving skills

Building positive relationships with learners and colleagues

Contributing to a supportive, collaborative maths department
What you’ll need

QTS or QTLS status (or working towards it)

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching maths

Good classroom management and communication skills

A passion for helping students gain confidence and enjoyment in maths
