About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our high-performing secondary school in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will inspire students across KS3 and KS4, delivering high-quality lessons that develop problem-solving, logical thinking, and a love of mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to KS3 & KS4 students.

Prepare students for GCSE Mathematics examinations, ensuring excellent progress and attainment.

Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum.

Monitor and assess student achievement, providing targeted support and interventions.

Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where all students can thrive.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student learning.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
-
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Desirable:
-
Experience delivering A-Level Mathematics.
-
Evidence of raising attainment at KS4.
-
A commitment to promoting maths-related extracurricular activities (e.g., STEM clubs, maths competitions).
