New year, new challenge? We’re working with a friendly secondary school in Wakefield who are looking for a committed Maths Teacher to join them from January.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping students build confidence with numbers and problem-solving, whether you’re an experienced Maths teacher or an ECT keen to grow within a supportive department. You’ll be joining a school that values clear routines, strong relationships and engaging teaching.

The role

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning structured, engaging lessons that support progress and confidence

  • Creating a calm, positive classroom environment

  • Working closely with a supportive and collaborative Maths team

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status, or working towards it

  • A genuine passion for Maths and education

  • Strong classroom management with an encouraging approach

  • Someone dependable, reflective and keen to make an impact

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
