We’re working with a range of supportive secondary schools across Leeds who are looking for Maths Teachers to join them from January. Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or an ECT finding your feet, there’s a role where you can genuinely thrive.
The role
You’ll be delivering engaging, well-structured Maths lessons that bring clarity and confidence into the classroom. These schools value teachers who know their subject, but also know their pupils.
You’ll be:

Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities in some settings

Planning and delivering lessons that make Maths accessible and relevant

Supporting pupils of varying abilities to build confidence and resilience
-
Working within a collaborative department that shares ideas and resources
-
Creating a positive, purposeful learning environment where progress is celebrated
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to be perfect, just passionate and committed. We’d love to hear from you if you:

Hold QTS or are working towards it

Have a strong subject knowledge in Maths

Build positive relationships and set high expectations

Care as much about pupils’ confidence as their grades

Are reflective, adaptable and ready to get stuck in

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
