Pay: £150 – £250 per day

We’re working with several well-run secondary schools across Middlesbrough looking for skilled and enthusiastic Mathematics Teachers to join their teams. These schools offer clear behaviour systems, supportive leadership, and pupils who thrive with structured, engaging maths teaching.

The role includes:

  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 if desired

  • Planning and delivering clear, well-paced lessons that build understanding and confidence

  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and closing learning gaps

  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-established maths department

  • Maintaining consistent routines and positive classroom behaviour

The schools are looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)

  • Has experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school

  • Can explain concepts clearly and adapt lessons to different learning styles

  • Brings organisation, resilience, and a calm classroom presence

  • Enjoys being part of a diverse and inclusive school community
