An Ofsted graded Good school is recruiting for a Teacher of Maths to work from September 2023 until July 2024. This is a full time position.

The school is located within easy reach of Durham City Centre making it easily commutable by both public transport and for drivers.

The ideal Maths Teacher  will be a passionate about  Mathematics, teaching and learning and delivering positive learning outcomes for every child within their care. The school has a strong culture of high aspirations and the successful Maths teacher will share that ethos.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of teaching Maths to KS4.
  • Be an inspirational practitioner who maximises the potential of students and staff.
  • Maximise achievement through rigorous monitoring, intervention, and review.
  • Have energy, resilience, optimism, a sense of humour and the determination to see things through.
  • Make a full contribution to the wider life of the school and the personal development of its students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
