An exciting position has become available for a full or part time Maths Teacher based in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will earn £30,000 - £35,000 depending upon experience, this will be pro rata for Part Time.

The role is to start on 27th February (or as close as possible).

The school is a Chesterfield based, medium sized Academy that provides education for children from years 7 to 11 (ages 11 – 16). The school provides a welcoming and supportive place to both work and learn, with the staff firmly committed to provide the very best education for every child. This is a contract position running through to the summer holidays and possibly beyond.

About the role:

You will be teaching the national maths curriculum to key stages 3, 4 and 5.

To be successful for this role, you will:

  • Have experience in teaching Mathematics in a UK school or educational organisation
  • Hold qualified Teacher Status
  • Ideally have experience of teaching a wide age range of pupils within KS3 to KS5
  • Ideally have experience in teaching GCSE and A-level Maths.
  • Be able to plan lessons
  • Be passionate about the ongoing development of children
