The role

A high-performing secondary school in Northumberland is seeking a Maths Teacher to join its established department. The role involves teaching across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching available for experienced candidates.

The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver clear, structured lessons, raise attainment, and support pupils in building confidence and fluency in mathematics.

£163 – £265.92 per day | PAYE | Depending on experience

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-sequenced Maths lessons

• Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable)

• Monitor and track student progress

• Contribute to departmental planning and intervention strategies

The ideal candidate

• QTS (or equivalent)

• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

• Effective classroom management skills
