Maths Teacher – Long-Term Role
Wakefield | Starting after February half term

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield who are looking for a Maths Teacher to join them on a long-term basis from after February half term. The department is supportive, the leadership team is approachable, and there’s a genuine focus on helping both students and staff thrive.

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with lessons that build confidence as well as competence

  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons

  • Creating a calm, positive classroom where pupils feel supported

  • Working closely with the wider department to keep learning moving forward

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools

  • Someone reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to commit to a long-term role

  • Strong classroom presence with a nurturing, consistent approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
