We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Middlesbrough that’s looking for a capable, committed Maths teacher to join them as soon as possible. The department is well organised, supportive, and focused on helping teachers teach, not firefight.

This role would suit an experienced Maths teacher looking for a fresh setting, or an ECT who wants strong support while they find their feet.

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
  • Helping students build confidence with numbers, problem-solving, and exam techniques
  • Creating a calm, focused classroom where learning feels achievable
  • Working as part of a friendly Maths team that shares resources and ideas

What we’re looking for

  • UK QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • A solid understanding of the Maths curriculum
  • Confident classroom management and clear expectations
  • A positive, practical approach and willingness to get stuck in
