Maths Teacher

Daily pay: £168–£263

If you’re a Maths teacher who believes clarity, structure and high expectations make all the difference, this role could be a great fit.

We’re working with a large secondary school where Maths is taken seriously, both in the classroom and at leadership level. Lessons are purposeful, routines are embedded, and students are supported to build confidence step by step.

The role

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with potential Sixth Form teaching

  • Delivering clear, well-structured lessons that support all learners

  • Helping students develop confidence, resilience and problem-solving skills

  • Working as part of a supportive, organised Maths department

The school environment

This is a school where behaviour is consistent and expectations are clear, allowing teachers to focus on teaching rather than firefighting. Departments are well-led, resources are shared, and staff are backed by a visible and supportive leadership team.

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified Maths teacher who values structure and consistency

  • Someone confident explaining concepts clearly and building understanding over time

  • A professional who enjoys being part of a team and contributing to department success

Why this role works

  • Daily pay between £168 and £263

  • A calm, well-ordered environment that supports strong teaching

  • A school that respects subject expertise and classroom practice

If you’re looking for a Maths role where routines work and students are ready to learn, this could be the one.
