What you’ll be doing

Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available if that’s your thing)

Planning engaging lessons that build confidence, not fear, around maths

Using a range of strategies to support different learning needs

Marking and assessing in line with school policies, no unnecessary faff

Working closely with the Maths department to share ideas and resources

Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

What we’re looking for

UK QTS (or equivalent)

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Strong classroom presence and clear communication
-
A calm, consistent approach to behaviour
-
Someone who enjoys helping students grow in confidence, not just grades
ECTs are very welcome, mentoring and support are in place.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
