As a Full Time Maths Teacher, you will be part of a team dedicated to inspiring students and helping them excel in their mathematical journey. We value creativity and innovation in our teaching approach and believe in providing our students with the tools to succeed. The school currently has 1,641 pupils enrolled, which is just shy of its full capacity of 1,740 students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students in their mathematical journey, fostering a love for the subject while helping them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for students across various year groups.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Work closely with the department to enhance the learning experience.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities when required.
  • Local to the Newham area.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • PGCE or equivalent desirable, but not essential.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Mathematics.
  • Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in teaching Maths is desirable, but not essential.

  • Fix Term Contract with a possibility of going permanent
