About the Role:

Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Wimbledon, London, starting in September. This is a full-time, temporary position with a competitive daily pay rate ranging from £185 to £245, depending on experience and qualifications. The length of contract for this role is for the full academic year and ending in July 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Use innovative and effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematics.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and staff meetings.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
  • Uphold the school's values and policies, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Previous experience teaching maths at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
