Maths Graduate – Numeracy Support / Aspiring Teacher
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Daily Rate: £90–£110
Protocol Education is working with a secondary school in Newcastle to recruit a Maths Graduate to support numeracy and attainment across KS3 and KS4.
This role is particularly suitable for graduates considering teacher training or careers in data, finance or education. The school has a strong focus on building confidence in Maths and supporting students who require additional intervention. It is well connected via public transport.
Key responsibilities:

Supporting Maths lessons in the classroom

Delivering targeted numeracy interventions

Working with students who lack confidence in Maths

Supporting exam preparation and revision sessions

Encouraging problem-solving and resilience
Ideal candidates will:

Hold a degree in Maths or a related subject

Have strong numeracy and analytical skills

Be confident, patient and encouraging

Be interested in progressing into teacher training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
