Maths Graduate – Numeracy Intervention & Classroom Support
Location: Wallsend, North Tyneside
Daily Pay: £90–£110
Protocol Education is recruiting a Maths Graduate to support numeracy development in a secondary school in the Wallsend area.
This role is ideal for graduates who enjoy problem-solving and want to help students build confidence in Maths. The school has a strong focus on closing learning gaps and supporting pupils who may struggle with numeracy. It is easily reached by public transport from across North Tyneside and Newcastle.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Delivering targeted numeracy interventions

Working with students who lack confidence in Maths

Supporting revision and exam preparation sessions

Encouraging resilience and positive learning behaviours
The ideal candidate will:

Hold a degree in Maths or a related subject

Be confident explaining mathematical concepts clearly
-
Be patient, encouraging and organised
-
Be considering teacher training or an education-based career

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
