Maths, English and Science Mentor

Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Maths, English and Science Mentor in April 2023 to join a secondary school in Valentines, Redbridge.

This role is for a Maths, English and Science Mentor who is open to supporting children who may have social, emotional and/or mental health needs.

Previous experience of working in an educational setting is required to be considered for this post.

You must be a strong team player with the ability to contribute to the wider life of the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Student Support team and the Pastoral Team to support and encourage students to develop their skills.

Located in Valentines, this secondary school is passionate about improving standards and their approach to learning echoes this through the Ofsted rating in which they scored Good.

 

Requirements of a Maths, English and Science Mentor:

  • Good communication skills; the ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills
  • Work with the class teacher and wider team
  • Empathetic and patient whilst dealing with children
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
