Good maths teaching changes everything. Confidence grows, hands go up, and suddenly it clicks. We’re working with a friendly secondary school in Leeds that’s looking for a Mathematics Teacher who can make numbers make sense and help pupils believe they can do it.

This is a well-run school with clear routines, supportive leadership and a maths department that works together rather than in silos. You’ll have the space to teach properly, backed by colleagues who’ve got your back.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4

  • Breaking down tricky concepts in a way pupils actually get

  • Creating a calm, focused classroom with high expectations

  • Working closely with a collaborative and supportive maths team

What the school is looking for:

  • UK QTS (or on track to achieve it)

  • A confident, engaging approach to teaching maths

  • Strong classroom presence with clear, consistent behaviour management

  • Someone who enjoys helping pupils go from “I can’t do this” to “ohhh… I get it”

Why work with Protocol Education?

  • Pay to scale, paid weekly through PAYE

  • A dedicated consultant who listens and keeps things straightforward

  • FREE access to our online CPD Academy

  • Opportunities across mainstream, SEND and alternative settings
