We’re working with a supportive secondary school in Leeds looking for a Mathematics Teacher who can build confidence, break things down clearly, and make problem-solving feel achievable, even for the most reluctant learners.
This is a school that values calm classrooms, strong routines, and teachers who know their subject and their students. Whether you’re an experienced Maths specialist or an ECT ready to get stuck in, you’ll be well supported from day one.
What you’ll be doing

Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4

Helping students build confidence with numbers, not fear them

Delivering clear, engaging lessons that actually land

Working with a friendly department that shares resources and supports each other

UK QTS or equivalent

A strong grasp of Maths and how to teach it well

Confident behaviour management and a calm classroom presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
