Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments and examinations
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them improve their mathematical skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for mathematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in teaching mathematics to a diverse range of students

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities
  • Potential for extracurricular activities and parent meetings
