What the role includes as a Mandarin Teacher

You’ll teach Mandarin across various year groups (KS3–KS4), helping students grow in confidence with speaking, characters, pronunciation and understanding cultural context. The school promotes global learning and values creative MFL teaching.

Your responsibilities as a Mandarin Teacher

  • Delivering clear and engaging Mandarin lessons
  • Supporting pupils with spoken language, characters and tones
  • Introducing cultural elements that boost understanding
  • Preparing learners for assessments and progression
  • Working alongside the MFL team to support curriculum development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
