SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with a pupil in a primary school in Maldon.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference to a child’s educational experience.
The Role

Provide 1:1 support tailored to the individual needs of the pupil

Support learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

Implement strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO
-
Assist with personal, social, and behavioural development
-
Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals
We Are Looking For

Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, physical or learning needs)

A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

Reliability, commitment, and professionalism
-
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Compliance Essentials
To be considered, candidates must have:

Two professional references

Enhanced DBS (sighted or on the Update Service)

Right to Work in the UK
