Salary: £85 - £95 Per day - in Line with AWR after 12 weeks

Protocol Edcuation are currently working on behalf of a lovely Primary School in Newham who are looking for staff to work in their Autism Resource Provision from September.

You will be working as part of a team of LSA's to provide support for children in EYFS and KS1 with Autism. Many of the children you are working with are non-verbal.

The school are willing to provide training and support to any successful candidate but they are looking for reliable and passionate educators in return.

Experience working with SEN is beneficial but full training will be given.

The school also welcome applications from Graduates who are considering a career in teaching.

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and activities for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Assisting students with their individual learning needs and providing additional support where necessary.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborating with the teacher to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
