Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Specialist Provision
Location: Newcastle
Contract: Full-time or Part-time considered
Salary: £89–£110 per day (PAYE)

A specialist provision in Newcastle is looking for experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated and compassionate team.

The school supports pupils aged 3–11 with a wide range of needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties, PMLD (profound and multiple learning disabilities), cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and speech and language communication challenges. Every child is known, understood, and given the tools to flourish—thanks to a nurturing ethos and a truly inclusive approach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing consistent, hands-on support to pupils with complex needs

  • Supporting access to learning across a range of subjects and activities

  • Helping implement individual education plans in collaboration with teachers and therapists

  • Promoting a respectful, inclusive environment where every pupil feels seen and supported

  • Contributing to the ongoing assessment and celebration of pupil progress

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND

  • Confident communicator with strong teamworking skills

  • Reliable, reflective, and passionate about inclusive education

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
