Job Duties:

  • Supporting the teacher in delivering educational activities and lessons
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help
  • Supervising students during class and break times
  • Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term times. The candidate must be comfortable working with children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
