Job Duties:

1. Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities

2. Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials

3. Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties

4. Supervising group activities and maintaining classroom order

5. Monitoring student progress and reporting back to the teacher

Required Qualifications:

1. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

2. GCSEs in English and Maths

3. Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Minimum of Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Understanding of the national curriculum

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to work effectively in a team

4. Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

1. First Aid certification

2. Safeguarding training

Working Conditions:

1. Work hours may vary but typically follow the school timetable

2. May involve standing for long periods and some lifting of materials

3. Interaction with students, teachers, and parents on a daily basis

4. Adherence to school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
