Job Duties:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering educational activities
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing support for students with special educational needs
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
- Supporting the planning and preparation of teaching materials
- Providing one-to-one support for students as required
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS check
- First Aid certification (desirable)
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma
- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
- Work in a classroom setting under the direction of the class teacher
- Full-Time hours with occasional overtime required
- May involve working with students with challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
