Job Duties:

  • Providing high-quality care and education to children
  • Planning and implementing activities to meet the individual needs of children
  • Observing and recording children's development and progress
  • Maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience working in a nursery setting

Previous experience working in a nursery setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid qualification
  • Safeguarding training

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with children and may require some physical activity. The nursery operates during standard business hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
