Level 3 Interventions Teaching Assistant – Primary – Hillingdon – £95–£110 per day

Immediate Start • Delivering Reading, Phonics & Maths Interventions • Experienced TA Required

Are you a confident Level 3 TA who loves helping children make rapid progress?
This well-led primary school in Hillingdon is looking for an experienced Interventions Teaching Assistant to run small-group and 1:1 sessions across KS1/KS2.

You’ll be working with children who need targeted support in phonics, early reading, handwriting, number work, and basic comprehension.
The school is organised, behaviour is well-managed, and you’ll have clear plans and resources — they just need someone skilled enough to deliver them properly.

This is not a general classroom support role — they want someone who is proactive, confident and able to take ownership of intervention sessions.

⭐️ The role:

  • Running structured literacy and numeracy interventions

  • Delivering Read Write Inc/phonics sessions (training provided if needed)

  • Supporting pupils who are slightly behind age-related expectations

  • Taking small groups for fluency, vocabulary and comprehension

  • Supporting basic maths interventions

  • Monitoring progress and feeding back to teachers/SENCo

  • Supporting occasional 1:1 SEND catch-up sessions

⭐️ You MUST have:

  • A Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience leading interventions or small-group sessions

  • Strong knowledge of phonics/early reading

  • Confidence managing small groups independently

  • Good behaviour management and calm communication

  • Reliability and consistency — this role depends on it

Desirable (not essential):

  • RWI/phonics training

  • Experience supporting lower-attaining pupils

  • Understanding of SEND and mild learning needs

⭐️ What the school offers:

  • £95–£110 per day

  • Real responsibility and professional trust

  • A supportive SENCo and very organised staff team

  • Long-term stability (full academic year potential)

  • Quick apply — no long forms
