Pay: £89.38–£120 per day, depending on experience
Hours: Wednesday to Friday, 3:00pm–6:00pm

We’re working with a friendly primary school in LS26 who are looking for a Level 3 Early Years qualified Teaching Assistant to join their wraparound care team. This role sits within the school’s after-school provision, supporting children at the end of their day with calm routines, play-based activities, and a safe, welcoming environment.

This role requires a full Level 3 Early Years qualification. Unfortunately, applications without the correct qualification cannot be considered, as this is a statutory requirement of the role.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting children during after-school wraparound care

Creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment

Leading and supporting age-appropriate activities

Working closely with school staff to maintain consistent routines
The school is looking for someone who:

Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

Enjoys working with children in a play-based setting

Is reliable, caring, and confident supporting groups of children

Can commit to Wednesday–Friday afternoons on an ongoing basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
