Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Sunderland

Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

We’re supporting a specialist setting in Sunderland that works with pupils who have complex learning needs, communication difficulties, and sensory processing differences. Classes are small, routines are clear, and the staff team is warm and steady. They’re looking for a calm, patient Level 2 TA who brings kindness first and isn’t scared of a busy day.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting pupils with a wide range of SEND

Helping learners follow routines that feel safe and predictable

Working with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised support

Using visuals, sensory tools, and communication aids

What you’ll need

Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent)

Experience in SEND, care, youth work, or similar

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
