Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Autism Specialist) – Sunderland/Peterlee

Pay: £89 to £110 per day
Start: Immediate
Contract: Long-term

This Level 2 role is ideal if you’re experienced in supporting autistic pupils and love working in structured, nurturing environments.

You’ll join a team that understands sensory regulation, communication differences and the power of consistent support. Every day is purposeful, and every pupil has their own way of showing progress.

You’ll be doing:
• Supporting learning through structured activities
• Helping pupils regulate with sensory strategies
• Providing calm, predictable support
• Contributing to communication plans and routines

We’re looking for:
• Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience in SEND settings or care environments
• Someone patient, observant and grounded

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
