Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant seeking an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the education of primary students? A school in the Stockton-on-Tees area looking for an enthusiastic TA to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing efficient support withing the classroom, assisting the teacher in delivering captivating lessons.
  • Working closely with pupils in one-to-one or small group settings.
  • Assisting in implementing Educational Support Plans and ensuring the pupils needs are met.
  • Supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Working collaboratively with Teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a supportive, safe and engaging environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Driver (preferred)
  • Must be local to the Teesside area.
  • Prior experience in an educational support role.
  • Minimum qualification of a Teaching Assistant Level 2 Certificate or equivalent.
  • An understanding of the primary National Curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • A commitment to student wellbeing with an updated Safeguarding certificate (we offer a free online safeguarding course upon registration)
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
