Level 2/3 Autism Support Assistant – South Shields

You’ll support pupils who rely on structure, visuals and calm, consistent adults. The team is warm, skilled and brilliant with communication-based approaches.
Your day might include:
• Supporting pupils in sensory-friendly, structured classrooms
• Using communication tools like visuals, schedules and prompts
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and routines
• Engaging in practical, hands-on learning
• Working closely with a supportive multi-disciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
